In Mitchell Hall is this exhibit of the succulents next to the fountain. It was quite striking. On the right behind all the vegetation where the lights are in the corner is a small concessions area. On the left off camera is a gift shop and the entrance to the Tropical Discovery Exhibit and the Cloud Forest Tree Hall.
The blooms on the bottom of the page are from the Rock Alpine Garden. I have seen these growing in the wild in the mountains near Cripple Creek. After the winter we have had in 2006/2007 it was certainly a feeling that spring can not be too far off.
