William Shakleford Connor then is my grandfather with a few greats in front of grandfather. He was one of the pioneers that struck out for Kansas to be a teacher. He was married to Ann Walters and their picture is below with their children of that point of time. Ann was the grand daughter of William Carroll Thomas whose picture is also on this page. It was taken in St. Joesph, Missouri.
