I would like to start this page with my Great, Great Grandfather. His name was Peterson Roff. He was a member of the 27th Kentucky Infantry as a First Lieutenant during the American Civil War. After the war he would pioneer in Kansas leaving Kentucky forever. He would become the mayor of Newton, Kansas. Before the Civil War he was a mule skinner.
