This page is dedicated to the interests I have with the historical events that I have an interest in. Vicksburg and the 27th Kentucky Infantry Regiment are from the American Civil War. United Kingdom includes shots to HMS Victory the ship that Lord Nelson used as his flagship at Trafalgar and Turkey includes shots of geographical and historical significance

The monument on the left is dedicated to the soldiers of Rhode Island that fought at Vicksburg.
The monument above is dedicated to the troops from Tennessee. Obviously they are behind the Confederate lines. The obelisk in the background is dedicated to the Union Navy. At that site are huge 32 pounder cannon that were used to pound the Confederates all along the line near this monument.
