These images show the buttes. The top image is of the Western Pawnee Butte as seen from the Eastern Pawnee Butte.
The trail leading from one to the other is also seen.
The lower image of of the two buttes as seen from the top of the formation in the background of the the top image.
The image does not do justice to the ravines that lie between the point of the camera and the buttes in the image. Some of these are quite deep. Some have been populated by juniper trees. The entire area is quite interesting.
